PILOT: SOMETHING WICCA COMES THIS WAY
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 10-07-1998

• The tree in front of the house sometimes has leaves, sometimes it doesn't. This is because some scenes had to be re-shot. The original pilot had another Phoebe that was filmed before spring. The scenes with Alyssa was shot sometime in the summer.

• At the end, When Prue was talking to Andy, she had picked up the paper, and at one shot of her, she was holding the paper with Gazzette outwards, and then in the next, she was holding it with "The Daily" outwards, and then it ws back to the Gazzette.

EPISODE #2: I'VE GOT YOU UNDER MY SKIN
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 10-14-1998

• Because this episode was made a considerable time after the pilot, there are a few continuity glitches. One is that the restaurant Piper storms out of bears no resemblance to the one she was working at in the pilot.

• When Phoebe is talking to Alec, there are 2 different shots. One of the shots Phoebe's face is resting on her hand, and in the other scene her hand is down.

• When Piper freezes time in the restaurant we can still see the flame on the dessert moving.

EPISODE #4: DEAD MAN DATING
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 10-28-1998

• While Piper is rushing to clean up the invitations for Prue's party, we see her picking up all the cards in her hand from a front shot, then as they get a shot from the back, the cards are still on the counter.

• Piper opens the door of the car so that Marc can get in. Why did she do that? He should have been able to walk through the door.

• When Marc gets into the car, you can see it move under his weight - but ghosts don't weigh anything!

• When Marc is sitting on the sofa, talking to Piper, he shifts and the cushion visibly moves under him.

• When Wong has Piper tied in the chair, he grabs the back of her hair with his left arm. In the first shot you can tell that his right arm, with the gun, is relaxed at his side. But in the next shot, his arm, and the gun, are steadily aimed at Piper.

• When Phoebe copies the Chinese characters, she does a fairly good job of reproducing them. But she puts them the wrong way around.

• Marc couldn't turn on the TV because his fingers went right through the TV set, yet he could manage to sit on the couch.

• When Marc is shot, there is no bullet hole in his clothes, and no blood.

• When Prue finds Andy eating lunch with his ex-wife and the ex-wife introduces herself as Susan Trudeau, Prue asks if Susan is Andy's sister. Since Prue and Andy dated in high school (and later in "That 70s Episode" we see that they knew each other even as little kids) wouldn't Prue know if Andy had a sister named Susan? (When you date someone in high school, you generally know if he/she has siblings since you are still living with your parents in high school.)

• If Mark couldn't touch anything or press a TV button, how is he able to sit in Piper's car, wouldn't he just fall right through?

SEASON ONE » EPISODE FIVE

EPISODE #5: DREAM SORCERER
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 11-04-1998

• Piper is taking a pregnancy test after her fling with Jeremy. According to on-screen references in this episode and previous ones, that was over two months ago. This episode was produced much earlier in the sequence and held back, accounting for the discontinuity.

• Jade's assistant manages to haul Allison out of the mansion and be upstairs to attack the priest pretty much simultaneously.

• Piper has to substitute for Chef Moore who left on short notice, despite the fact that he quit at the restaurant a month or so ago as established in previous episodes. Again, this occurs because this episode was produced earlier and held back.

• Piper freezes the two bridesmaids in the basement, but then says she failed because she's not close enough. She's close enough (based on the last few episodes, but not the series premiere) and they never move anyway, so it's not clear why she thinks she failed.

• When Jade summons storm clouds to block the sun, the lighting on the outdoor set of the wedding never changes.

• Where'd Elliott get the jeweled dagger from to use on Jade? He picks it up off the floor of the bedroom. But last we had seen Prue had it and she entered the room from a totally different direction.

EPISODE #6: WEDDING FROM HELL
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 11-11-1998

• When Piper and Phoebe are at the bride's house, Phoebe comes in wearing a jacket and a purse. Later they talk to the bride's mother but then the alarm rings,and Phoebe come running in without a jacket or purse.

• Even later, once the priest has fallen from the window, we see that Phoebe has both jacket and purse again. When the demons push the girls into the bedroom Prue drops her purse, then in the next shot she has it again. We see Elliot roll off the bed to pick up the knife next to Prue's purse - but Prue already has the purse back.

EPISODE #7: THE FOURTH SISTER
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 11-18-1998

• When Kali appears while Phoebe is sleeping we see her in the mirror and along with Phoebe's bed. We do not however see Phoebe asleep in the bed. Instead the bed is empty and has been made.

• Aviva leaves her sweater in the sun room but later we see it in the kitchen.

• The hatbox and dressmakers' model are set on fire, but they turn up in future episodes looking normal.

EPISODE #8: THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE ... AND IT HURTS
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 11-25-1998

• Andy claims the victims of the time-traveling killer had all color drained from their eyes. And earlier the first victim undergoes that procedure, leaving him with white-eye. But when Andy arrived on the scene later the victim's eyes were their normal color.

• How does Piper know where to find Prue and the time-travelling killer in the storage basement at Bucklands?

EPISODE #9: THE WITCH IS BACK
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 12-16-1998

• A "beginning of series" error. In this episode Melinda says that Mathew probably stole the power 'blinking' from some other witch, but later we get to know that blinking is a warlock's standard power and witches can't have it.

• No witches were ever burned in Salem, the opening flashback sequence set in Salem, 1692 to the contrary. All witches killed at Salem were hung.

• The establishing shot we see of the lawyer's office was the same shot of the waitress' apartment a few weeks previously in "The Dream Sorcerer."

• When the sisters chant, for some reason Phoebe and Prue says six "greats" before grandmother - Piper slips in the seventh on her lonesome.

EPISODE #10: WICCA ENVY
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 01-13-1999

• When Prue and Phoebe catch Piper with Leo, her shirt is unbuttoned. When she pushes her sisters out of sight, her shirt is buttoned. When she returns to take Leo’s hand, her shirt is unbuttoned again.

• When Piper freezes the guard at the door when they are breaking Prue out of prison he is looking at the door, and would have seen the sisters. When they are leaving, he is looking at the bulliten board.

EPISODE #11: FEATS OF CLAY
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 01-20-1999

• How does Clay know that Prue works for an auction house if he and Phoebe have not spoken since she left New York?

• When Piper freezes Doug for the first time, the glasses on the tray were being tossed towards the wall behind the bar. When Piper retrieves the glasses from mid-air, she is in front of the bar and has to walk up to the bar to put the glasses on the tray.

EPISODE #12: THE WENDIGO
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 02-03-1999

• When Piper changes into a Wendigo we see her clothes ripping off, yet once the camera pans out there are no clothes lying on the floor.

• When the Wendigo is about to slash Andy, we see her rip his shirt wide open. The next shot is of the Wendigo itself, and then the shot quickly moves back to an unconscious, Andy. In this shot you can clearly see that his shirt is still buttoned up and untouched.

• In the beginning, when they were all in the hospital, and FBI Agent Fallon arrives, Andy introduces her to the Halliwell sisters, but he points to the wrong sister as he says their names.

EPISODE #13: FROM FEAR TO ETERNITY
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 02-10-1999

• Prue gets pushed into a pool,yet when she arrives home her hair is not only dry but perfectly styled.

• When Andy bursts in on Prue in the shower there is no white in her hair but when Phoebe comes home the streak has suddenly materialised. It then vanishes for the rest of the episode.

• When Phoebe is sitting there debating if she should lie or not lie. You can see that there is no water in the water bottle. Yet when she spills it, it is full of water.

EPISODE #14: SECRETS AND GUYS
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 02-17-1999

• Max's father had a band aid on his face. When Leo healed/saved him, Leo was able to heal the bullet wound to the chest. Leo also managed to remove the blood on his shirt. So why was the band aid still on the father's face after all that healing?

• When Leo fills Phoebes waterglass with water you see that the ice in the bottom of the glass doesn´t float.

EPISODE #15: IS THERE A WOOGY IN MY HOUSE?
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 02-24-1999

• In "The Fourth Sister", Leo hangs up flyers of the "lost" Kit around the neighborhood, and we see that the Halliwell's address is 7571 Prescott Street, but in this episode, Phoebe mentions on the phone that their address is 1329 Prescott Street.

EPISODE #16: WHICH PRUE IS IT, ANYWAY?

• After Prue goes upstairs to increase her strength by three, Phoebe and Piper are talking downstairs and Piper's hair is down. After they have heard the weird noise coming from the attic and rushed upstairs, Piper is standing looking down at Prue and her hair is back in a ponytail.

EPISODE #17: THAT '70s EPISODE
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 04-07-1999

• The note Phoebe was tempted to leave Patty said to stay away from water during February. However, in season 2's "P3H20", it's revealed Patty was murdered at a summer camp while it was in session.

• Phoebe's note warned Patty she would be drowned by a warlock, but it was later established she was killed by the Water Demon.

• Piper is said to have graduated from high school in 92. That would mean she had been born in 73-74. But in this episode, which took place in 75, she was 3 or 4 yrs old.

• When phoebe takes the picture of Patty, Little Prue and Little Piper when they are about to go back to their time, Little Piper is looking at her feet but when Phoebe is looking at the picture in the present, Little piper is looking up.

• When Nick tells Piper that he knows she froze him, you can see a clock behind the girls. The time shown on the clock is 12:25 even though it is supposed to be noon.

EPISODE #18: WHEN BAD WARLOCKS GO GOOD

• When Prue is making that potion to kill the bad guys, she is just beginning to poor it in the glass jars. But the phone rings so she sets the pot down and answers the phone, then she goes back and grabs two full jars all capped up and ready to go.

• When Prue is making the vanquishing potion for the Grimlocks, she has just filled one bottle-one is still empty when so goes to answer the phone. But when she hangs up she goes back to the counter and grabs two filled containers.

EPISODE #20: THE POWER OF TWO
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 05-12-1999

• When Jackson grabs the candlestick holder we see the candle on the table but when he attacks Andy the candle has vanished.

• When Prue drinks the death drink we see her drink the full glass but later we see some of the red liquid left over.

• When Phoebe and Prue are unpacking the grocery bag at the end, we can see that Phoebe is holding a cotton bag. However in the next shot, she is holding a tampon tampax box, and just taking out the cotton bag from the packet.

EPISODE #21: LOVE HURTS
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 05-19-1999

• In all the other episodes concerning a Dark Lighter his arrows are only lethal to White Lighters but in this episode Leo clearly states that the sisters can't touch the arrow because it is poisoned.

• Piper says that Leo is dead. But she is able to save him with his power, however, in every other episode apart from this one, Leo states that he can't heal the dead. Why was Piper able to save him when his power is unable to bring the dead back to life?

EPISODE #22: DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN
ORIGINAL AIRDATE: 05-26-1999

• Phoebe comes out of the manor and her hair is tied up with clips all neatly then when she goes outside to meet Prue who is sat outside on the steps then Phoebe's hair is down and has a single clip in it.
